Reciprocating Compressor System

The reciprocating motion of the piston within the cylinder achieves the compression of the gas and can provide a high compression ratio which is applicable to high-pressure gas compression.

Process Reciprocating Compressor
The arrangement of OPTTEN process reciprocating compressors can be designed as opposed or symmetry, with up to 10 rows of cranks. Each unit is customized through designing cylinders and valves individually, as well as the matching components’ design are customized so as to meet the specific operational requirements. We have strict control on the key fit clearances, sizes and standardized process of inspection and testing to avoid the potential assembly issues. We adhere to meet clients’ requirements with rigorous products management processes and provide incomparable efficiency and reliability.
Medium high speed reciprocating compressor
The OPTTEN’s products almost cover all possible related applications in the market and are renowned for meeting both standard applications and the harshest working conditions, such as high pressure, carbon dioxide, sulfurous gas, acid gases and floating applications. The series of reciprocating compressors are compliant with ISO 13631 and also offer options of ISO 13707 or API 618. The series have six different models, with power ranging from 1,454 kW (1,950 hp) to 5,816 kW (7,800 hp), allowable rod load ranging from 106 MPa (15,400 psi) to 517 MPa (75,000 psi), specified maximum speed from 850 rpm to 1,800 rpm, and pressure rating is up to 69 MPa (10,000 psig).

PRODUCT FEATURES
  • HydroCOM, strongly adaptive and highly effective

    By controlling the delay angle of the suction valve retraction through the unloader, the exhaust volume of the unit is adjusted from 0% to 100% full range without any steps. At different intake air temperatures, the inter-stage pressure ratio of the unit remains unchanged, ensuring process stability. It has good adaptability to different types of gases and high energy utilization efficiency.

  • Efficient combination of dynamic and static sealing technology

    The crankshaft utilizes the slots of static components and sealing rings to achieve a linkage between dynamic and static sealing. High-strength, high-temperature resistant, and corrosion-resistant graphite sealing materials are preferred, which can provide good sealing even at the maximum speed of 1500rpm.

  • Independently developed high-efficiency plate heat system

    Low heat exchange end difference allows each stage compression ratio to be increased by 15-25%, ensuring cooling and temperature reduction during the compression process, while achieving a higher pressure ratio in single-stage compression.

  • Highly integrated device

    Cyclone separator with filter can achieve efficient separation of gas, liquid, and solids, and reduce compression energy consumption while reducing the volume of the separation tank by 1/3.
